The 2026 edition closed February 28, 2026. The next call has not been announced. Photographs could be made with any camera brand, on film or digitally.

Prizes

2026 winners received a Hasselblad X2D II 100C, two XCD lenses and a €5,000 creative fund, with opportunities to create work for the Masters book.

Eligibility

The previous free competition accepted three photographs per category. Project//21 was for entrants aged 21 or younger. Check the next edition’s eligibility and requirements before submitting.

Copyrights & Licensing

The 2026 rules granted Hasselblad a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence over entries for contest and brand-related uses. Winners had additional production and publication obligations. Review new terms when announced.
