The Royal Meteorological Society’s competition celebrates weather and climate photographs. The 2026 call has ended; a 2027 entry timetable has not been confirmed.

The published 2026 prizes include £1,500 for the main winner, £500 for Mobile Weather Photographer and £500 for the Climate Award.

Eligibility

The previous competition was free and open to all abilities worldwide, accepting up to five images per category made within five years of closing. AI-generated additions, removals and alterations were prohibited.
